White female with glasses, professional , pleasant and smart, compassionate, takes time to listen to patients

Ms. Brittany Hower, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Brittany is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2019 and has been dedicated to caring for others ever since.

Her approach to mental health care is compassionate and down-to-earth, rooted in the belief that the best care begins with listening and truly getting to know the person behind the symptoms. She has a genuine curiosity about each person’s story, what matters most to them, and the experiences that have shaped who they are. She believes no one should ever feel defined by a diagnosis or judged for their struggles.

Brittany’s understanding of mental health extends beyond her professional background. Through her own life experiences and as a mother of four, she recognizes how deeply mental health challenges can affect individuals and the people who love them. She strives to create a supportive, safe space where patients and families feel heard, valued, and less alone in their journey.

Her goal is to make a meaningful difference in each person’s life through thoughtful, personalized care that helps them feel healthier, more fulfilled, and more hopeful about the possibilities ahead.
